Xiamen Caimao CM918 series intelligent circuit breaker gateways are intelligent miniature circuit breakers, which are integrated and intelligent products independently developed for intelligent control and IoT applications. The intelligent miniature circuit breaker is a new type of product composed of sensors, microelectronics, computers and communication technologies on the basis of traditional circuit breakers. 

In addition to the overload and short circuit protection functions of traditional circuit breakers, the product also has functions such as leakage protection, remote control, electrical parameter measurement, overvoltage and undervoltage self-recovery, fault analysis, fault early warning, and RS485 communication; it is suitable for AC 50Hz, rated working voltage 230V /400V, rated operating current up to 63A in the line. Widely used in intelligent power distribution, video surveillance, communication base stations, data centers, charging piles, smart homes, fire protection, security and other places.

▋communication process

1. Power on the device and try to connect to the network

2. After the network connection is normal, the communication module attempts to send a registration message to the server. To modify the server point, please refer to Modifying the Service Point and Modifying the Server Point (Domain Name Supported)

3. If the communication module does not receive the server's reply to the registration message, it will re-send the registration message to the server every 30-60s; if the communication module receives the server's reply to the registration message, the communication module will actively send the push network configuration message and push switch configuration message

4. Send real-time messages every 2 minutes by default

5. By default, statistics messages are sent every hour

6. By default, when there is no data communication with the server for more than 1 minute, a heartbeat message is sent

7. When an event such as an alarm/switch action occurs, an event message is sent immediately

8. Wired/wifi version communication module, will listen to local UDP: 5918 port

▋LAN application

1. Send UDP broadcast to port 5918, the content is to get the network configuration message and get the switch configuration message

2. After receiving the message reply, send the modification service to point the module's server to the local machine

3. Communicate according to the aforementioned communication process

▋WAN application

1. The device is powered on and connected to the network (the NET indicator is always on)

2. Inform the customer service of the server IP address and port, and we will modify the server to point to the specified IP

3. During 4G/2G communication, the IP and port of the device uploading data to the server are the LAN addresses randomly assigned by the operator, so the ping fails.
